I get similarly irritated when I see “crop pants” in websites and catalogs. They are CROPPED pants. CROPPED. As in they were designed to be shorter than regular pants and were thus CROPPED. Much like a photo that is made smaller and is CROPPED. Not “crop pants,” which would indicate, I suppose, that they are used for farming.

Ahhhhhh. It felt good to get that off my chest. I’ve been holding it in for so long.
